Commander of Taiz Military Axis  Maj. Gen. Sameer al-Hajj conducted a field visit to national army forces on the northern front of the province on Thursday.

Maj. Gen. Al-Hajj confirmed the continuation of the battle and the advancement of the national army,  pointing out to the major decline and collapse in the ranks of the Houthi militia in the city.

The battle is aimed at breaking the four-year-long siege imposed on Taiz  city by Houthi militia, Al-Hajj said.

He stated that the national army forces have been progressing on the ground and have captured key positions in the north-western part of the city, praising bravery and steadfastness of the army heroes in confronting the Houthi’s coup militia.
