National army liberates new sites in Al-Dhale

National army forces and the Popular Resistance on Thursday liberated new sites, north of the southern province of Al-Dhale.
Army forces launched sudden attack, from several points, on the positions of the Houthi militia in the outskirts of the district of Qatabah.
During the attack, the army forces were able to complete the liberation of the entire hills and heights of the “Shakhab” area, west of the Qatabah district.
The army also liberated the areas of “al-Riaibi”, “Habil”, “Bab al-Shut”, “Al-Daweer” and “Maidan” in al-Fakher area of the same directorate.
The attack resulted in scores of killed and injured, as well as the capture of several Houthi militants.
Meanwhile, the national army forces thwarted an attempt by the Houthi militia to infiltrate positions in the “Hajar” area in the same district, and forced them to retreat and flee.
At the same time, the military forces launched a violent attack on the positions of the Houthi militia, in Torsa warfront in the district of Al-Azariq, west of the province.
The attack, followed by fierce battles lasted for hours, inflicted upon militia significant losses in life and equipment.
