Fierce clashes erupted on Tuesday between popular resistance and Houthi militia in al-Kareshah district of Al-Bayda province.

A ground source said to September Net that the clashes erupted after the Houthi rebels attempted to sneak into several sites in Novan mountain.

The army troops foiled the militia’s attempt and forced them to flee.

Houthi militants were killed and injured during the clashes, added the source.
