Information Minister Mo’amar Al-Eryani has denounced the Houthi militia storming of Mosques and arresting hundreds of citizens in areas under its control because they celebrated Eid al-Fitr festival.

In press statement, Al-Eryani said the militia banning the majority of citizens from celebrating the Eid festival, its breaking into several Mosques and arresting campaign, added to the list of its crimes and human rights violations.

He confirmed that celebrating the Eid by the majority of Yemenis ( on Tuesday not Wednesday as the militia did) foiled the Houthi rebels attempts to divide people and harm social fabric, and showed the size of isolation of the militia and total rejection to its sectarian project.
