The Abductees’ Mothers Association (AMA) called on the United Nations to mount pressure on Houthi militia to release their abducted sons.
AMA declared the death of two of their abducted sons in secret prisons run by the Iran-backed Houthi militia.
The Association voiced deep concern about the increase in abductions, forced disappearances and horrific torture of civilians by Houthi militia.
The Association said they don’t know the whereabouts of dozens, including women, taken away by Houthis and transferred to secret prisons.
AMA held the Houthi militia accountable for the safety of all the abductees, affirming that crimes of kidnapping are not time-barred.
The Mothers urged the UN and Security Council to interfere and ensure the immediate and unconditional release of their sons.
