A woman was killed and her sister wounded on Saturday by snipers of Houthi militia in the southwestern province of Taiz.

The 50-year-old woman Jamalah Ahmed Mohammed Ali was shot dead by Houthi snipers in the neighborhood of al-Maftash in Auseferah area, local sources said to September Net.

The sources explained that Jamalah was shot while trying to help her sister Fatima Ahmed Mohammed, who was wounded by another Houthi sniper.

The Houthi coup militia have intensified its shelling and sniping residential neighborhoods in the city of Taiz since late Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.

Since the first day of Eid al-Fitr, at least ten civilians including children were killed and more injured by Houthi militia’s shelling and sniping.
