A child injured by Houthi shelling west of Hodeida

A 12-year-old boy was wounded by the Iran-backed Houthi militia’s indiscriminate bombardment on residential neighborhoods west of Hodeida province on Thursday.

Local sources said that, the rebel Houthi militia waged intensive artillery shelling targeting the houses of civilians in Hais district, south of Hodeida.

Besides killing the boy Ashraf Abdu Sadik, the militia artillery attacks caused huge damages on people’s houses, the sources added.

Houthi militia has been continuously shelling civilians and populated areas in various districts of the province using different types of heavy weapons including Kattusha rockets and mortar rounds indiscriminately.
