Saudi Arabia informed the United Nations Security Council on Thursday that it will take emergency measures to deter the terrorist Iran-backed Houthi militia and hold to account the parties responsible for Wednesday’s attack against Abha International Airport.

In a letter to the Kuwaiti chair of the Security Council for June, Saudi Arabia’s Permanent Ambassador to the United Nations Abdallah al-Mouallimi said that the Houthis claimed full responsibility for the attack.

Saudi authorities were still determining the nature of the projectile, he added, remarking, however, that the Houthi militia has obtained new weapons.

It also reveals that the Iran regime was continuing its cross-border terrorism and violations of relevant Security Council resolutions.
