The UN food agency has threatened the Houthi rebels to suspend food aid unless they immediately implement the distribution agreement, after accusing them of diverting and stealing food in areas under their control.

World Food Program (WFP), Executive Director David Bisley told the UN Security Council on Monday that the agency had found “serious evidence” condemning the Houthis for manipulating the disbursement of food aid in the capital Sana’a and other areas under their control.
