Vice President Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh met in  Riyadh on Tuesday with Taiz Governor Nabil Shamsan, to follow the latest development in the province.

Shamsan detailed Lt. Gen. Saleh on the underway efforts have been exerted by the local authority to re-establish security, stability and basic services.

The Vice President commended significant efforts made by the local authority; appreciating the huge sacrifices extended by the population of Taiz governorate in the ongoing battles against Iran-backed Houthi militia.

He voiced deep appreciation for the member states of Saudi-led Arab Coalition, largely backed by the United Arab Emirates for the substantial support they provide Yemen with in different spheres.
