Dozen Houthi militiamen were killed on Tuesday during clashes with national army forces in Al-Dhale province, south of the country.

Fighting erupted as a group of militia elements tried to infiltrate positions under the control of the national army in Qatabah district, north of the province, however,  failed and forced to retreat and flee.

The clashes led to killing 12 Houthi militants, wounding others and the destruction of 23-caliber weapon for the militia.
