Army removes 2,000 landmines planted by militia in Haradh, Hajjah

The national army forces engineering teams, managed to extract large quantities of landmines and improvised explosive devices planted by Houthi militia in Haradh district in the northern province of Hajjah.
In the 5th military zone, the engineering teams extracted more than 2,000 landmines and improvised explosive devices from Al-Khadraa and Al-Naseem farms in Haradh district.
The mines varied between anti-personal, armored, as well as improvised explosive devices.
Prior to the liberation of the two farms, Houthi militia planted large quantities of landmines and improvised explosive devices in a failed attempt to impede the advance of the national army.
