Coalition air defenses shoot down two Houthi drones launched towards Saudi territory

The spokesman of Arab coalition announced that the air defenses shot down on Thursday two drones launched by Iran-backed Houthi militia towards Saudi territory.
In a statement published by the Saudi Press Agency, col. Turki al-Maliki said that the first Houthi drone was intercepted and downed at 20:40 while the second was shot down at 21:06 on Thursday evening.
Al-Maliki confirmed that the Houthi terrorist militia is trying to target civilian and facilities in desperate and repeated attempts, but none of their objectives achieved.
He stressed the right of the joint forces of the coalition to take and implement appropriate measures to deal with these hostile and terrorist acts, in accordance with international and humanitarian law and customary rules.
