National army forces have thwarted a new attack by Houthi militia in Hodeida on Thursday, causing heavy human losses upon the rebels’ side.
The Houthi rebels, as always, attempted to target positions controlled by the national army on outskirts of Tohaita district, south of the port city earlier today, however, they failed and were forced to retreat after a number of them were killed and wounded.
The national army forces in Hodeida have been committed to UN-led ceasefire in accordance with orders of the political and military leadership aiming at realizing peace.
On the other hand, the Iran-backed Houthi militia continues to break the truce in the city and continuously target the sites of the army forces almost every day.
