At least seven Houthi militants including ground leader and explosive expert were killed during clashes with army forces in Taiz province on Friday.

The clashes erupted between army forces and Houthi militia near a security camp in the east of Taiz.

The Houthi ground leader known as Abu Ali and the explosive expert Ahmad al-Dhale’i were killed along with five others during the clashes.

The national army regained quantities of multiple weapons, mines and explosive devices.
