World Food Program has revealed that the Iran-backed Houthi militia has turned back a shipment destined to feed about 100,000 families in Yemen
A WFP Official confirmed that the Houthi putschist militia denied access to more than 8000 tons of flour sent by the program to Hodeidah seaport.
The UN body had announced last Thursday that it begins a partial suspension of aid operations in the Houthi militia controlled areas, because of the militia’s looting and diverting of food aid meant to the hungry people.
The WFP accused Houthi militia of exploiting aid assistance for its profits and diverting it away from deserved beneficiaries.
