National army repels Houthis attacks in Hodeidah

National army forces thwarted on Wednesday several advancing attempts carried out by Houthi militia in several areas of Hodeidah province, western the country.

The Houthi militiamen tried today’s morning to make ground progress in the west of Hais district southern Hodeidah , but were beaten and forced to flee.

Several elements in the Houthi militia were killed and wounded during the clashes.

In the context, the Houthi rebels launched attack on army’s position aimed at making advancement in Tohaita district. The army troops repelled the Houthis attack and inflicted them losses in both personnel and combat equipment.

The Iran-backed Houthi militia continues to violate the ceasefire agreement in Hodeidah.
