National army forces foiled on Thursday infiltration attempt carried out by Iran-backed Houthi militia towards army’s positions in the south of Hodeidah province.

The Houthi militia stationed in al-Garahi district attempted to sneak into army’s positions in Hais district, but were beaten and forced to flee.

Several elements in the Houthi militia were killed and injured during the clashes.

In the context, the Houthi militia launched heavy artillery shelling on army’s positions in Hais district.

The Houthi militia continues violating the UN-sponsored ceasefire deal in different areas of Hodiedah province.
