The Arab Coalition for the support of legitimacy intercepted and downed on Saturday evening a drone launched by Iran-backed Houthi militia towards Jazan. Saudi Press Agency SPA.

Coalition Spokesman Colonel Turki al-Maliki said the coalition forces intercepted and downed the drone at 10:45 pm, adding that it was fired by Houthi militia from capital Sana’a towards Jazan.

He confirmed that the Houthi rebels is trying to target civilians and  facilities in desperate and repeated attempts without achieving any of their objectives.

Al-Maliki stressed that the coalition will continue to take deterrent measures against the insurgents in line with international humanitarian law.
