The Arab Coalition supporting legitimate government intercepted and downed a drone that the Iran-backed militants had launched towards Saudi Arabia.
The drone “was destroyed in the Yemeni airspace,” said the Coalition’s spokesman Col. Turki al-Maliki.
“The Houthis, as a criminal terrorist tool, are continuing to launch unmanned drones to carry out hostile and terrorist acts against civilian and civilian facilities but none of these (Houthi) goals were fulfilled,” he said, adding that the drones are often “intercepted and destroyed.”
He affirmed that the Coalition is meant to continue its deterrent measures against the terrorist militia to neutralize their capabilities with all toughness in line with the international humanitarian law.
