The naval forces of Arab coalition thwarted on Monday terrorist attempt carried out by Houthi militia to attack a commercial ship in the southern Red Sea by a booby-trapped boat laden with explosives.
In a release issued today by Saudi News Agency, the Coalition’s Spokesperson Colonel Turki al-Maliki said the coalition forces intercepted and destroyed the boat while moving towards the ship.
Al-Maliki pointed out the threat to navigation and international trade by the Iran-backed Houthi militia is a serious terrorist act, adding the coalition forces are continuing to neutralize all the militia’s hostile terrorist capabilities.
