Minister of Information Muammar al-Iryani has denounced Iranian regime for continuous supply of weapons and military technology to Houthis for using them in terrorist operations targeting civilians and diminishing efforts of solving Yemen’s crisis peacefully.

Yemeni News agency, Saba, quoted the minister as saying that the Houthi military exhibition announced about Saturday and comparing it to Iranian Revolutionary Guard’s pieces opened early 2019 proves clearly the source of Houthi weapons used in killing Yemeni people, targeting nearby cities of Saudi Arabia and threatening international navigation.

He pointed to continuous Iran’s supply to Houthis by ballistic rockets, drones and experts in manufacturing and laying mines and explosives in a stark challenge to UN Security Council’s resolutions 2216 and 2140 stipulating on banning export different types of weapons to Houthis.

He renewed demand to international community and permanent member states in the UN Security Council for taking serious steps for stopping Iranian threat of exporting weapons to Houthi militia, prolonging the war and complicating humanitarian crisis in Yemen.
