Health Minister, ICRC official discuss interventions in Yemen

Minister of Public Health and Population Nasser Ba’oom and the deputy head of the International Committee of the Red Cross discussed the interventions of the Red Cross in the field of health emergency specialties, primary health care and artificial limbs in various parts of Yemen.

In a meeting in the interim capital Aden, the minister stressed the importance of strengthening partnership between the two sides and the Red Cross’s intensifying of interventions in supporting healthcare for patients of chronic diseases such as diabetes and kidney failure centers.

Ba’oom also urged the Red Cross to expedite the completion of rehabilitating some health facilities in Aden.
