A child was shot dead on Thursday by Houthi militiamen in the east of Taiz city.

Local sources said to September Net that the Houthi militants intercepted a car for citizens including women and children at one of their checkpoints in al-Hoban area eastern Taiz.

The sources added that the militia forced the citizens out and searched the car in a humiliating manner.”Suddenly, the militia elements shot at the child Fouad Hamoud Naji al-Majeedi, killing him immediately,” according to the sources.

The sources pointed out that the Houthi militia claimed that the child belongs to ISIS terrorist group.
