Scores of Houthi coup militia were killed during clashes with national army in the north of Al-Dhale province on Friday.

The clashes broke out after the Houthi militiamen attempted to infiltrate into army’s positions in al-Sood hilltop north of Qatabah district.

The army troops thwarted the militia’s attempt and forced them to flee.

In the context, the army artillery forces shelled Houthi militia’s positions in the areas of al-Fakher and al-Zobareah in the same district.

Several elements in the Houthi militia were killed and injured and also a number of their combat vehicles were destroyed.
