At least three Houthi militants including two ground leaders were killed on Wednesday during clashes with national army in Makbanah district western Taiz province.

The commander of Makbanah front Hameed al-Kholaidi said to September Net that the army troops carried out qualitative military operation against Houthi militia in the west of Maqbanah district, killing a supervisor, field leader and sniper in the ranks of the Houthi militia.

Al-Kholaidi added that the operation was carried out after the Houthi militants attempted to sneak into army’s sites in the said area.

The army managed to repel the Houthis’ infiltration attempt and force them to flee towards the west of Makbanah.
