The Houthi militia continues its combat escalation in the western province of Hodeidah as part of its efforts to derail the course of consultations on redeployment in the province.

The Houthi militia expanded its violations of the UN humanitarian truce in various ways and means, as it continued to mobilize large numbers of its elements and push with large reinforcements including combat vehicles carrying hundreds of militants to the various fronts of the province.

On Thursday, the Houthi militia targeted the positions of the national army with various types of weapons in the Al-Gabaleah area in Tohaita district.

In the same context, the national army managed to repel fierce attack carried out by the Houthi militia inside the city of Hodeidah.

Several elements of the Houthi militia were killed and injured while the remained elements were forced to flee.
