National Army forces scored Saturday crucial gains in Mawiah district north east the province of Taiz.

In the last few hours, army forces liberated the key areas of Jabal Al-Shawk, Jabal Dhaeb in the Mawiah district, following sudden attack against militia’s sites.

The militia’s vital supply line of Jabal Al-Moshrmar, the villages of Saloul, Medinah and Hajr were also liberated by army.

By retaking control of Jabal Dhaeb, which overlooks the Baher area, the army will be able to advance into the rest sites of militia in Mawiah.

Moreover, army’s artillery shelled militia’s reinforcements on its way to back its militants on battlefield.
