The Saudi Project for Landmine Clearance “MASAM” has removed 1,673 ground mines during the fourth week of July 2019 planted by Houthi rebel militia in lands, schools and houses in a number of provinces.

In a release issued by the project, it made it clear that it removed 4 anti-person mines, 1,350 anti-tank mines, 305 unexploded shells and 14 explosive devices.

According to the release, the project has removed 79, 986 mines planted by Houthi militia in different fake shapes since the project launching.
