Def. Minister holds meeting including high military leaders

Yemen’s Defense Minister Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Mqdashi chaired a military meeting to update on the latest developments and the ongoing military operations of the army’s units in different warfronts in the country.
The meeting took place Thursday in Marib province, included top military leaders.
“According to the directives of His Excellency President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, sabotage acts must be dealt with firmly,” the Minister said.
Al-Mqdashi praised the troops’ sacrifices and heroic battles they have been fighting against Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia and the militia of the so-called Southern Transitional Council, urging more efforts and to raise the combat readiness.
Yemeni armed forces are continuing in its battle to liberate the country from the grip of the Houthi militia and facing the Iranian agendas aimed to turn Yemen into a platform to threat the security and stability of Yemen and region.
The Minister voiced appreciation for the brotherly role played by Saudi-led Coalition in supporting Yemen to restore the legitimate state.
“Military institution is vowing to its national responsibilities in protecting the revolution gains and republican system and preserving the social fabric”، he noted.
