Yemen demands Japan, Bangladesh to reject politicizing HR issue

Minister of Human Rights Mohammad Askar met Thursday with Ambassadors of Japan and Bangladesh in separated meetings on the sidelines of the Human Rights Council’s round is being held in Geneva currently, Saba news agency reported.

Minister Askar discussed with the ambassadors situations in Yemen and its position towards UN experts’ report, which neglected many Houthi crimes and human rights violations.

He called on the two ambassadors to support Yemen’s position rejecting politicizing human rights by any party.

He pointed to President Hadi’s decision of forming a national committee for investigating any human rights’ violation with international support. The committee issued its seven report several days ago.

For their part, the two ambassadors confirmed their countries’ support to Yemen and their rejection to politicizing Yemeni human rights file on the expense of Yemeni people’s rights.
