Yemen’s Foreign Minister Mohammed al-Hadhrami said the government wants the Houthis to fulfill their part in the Hodeidah port deal before the government can engage in any new round of talks with them.
In a meeting with his Bahraini counterpart Khaled Al Khalifa, al-Hadhrami said the Iran-backed coupists have set back implementation of the deal in various ways.
He also raised the south Yemen rebellion issue by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council and the shift in UAE’s position to the side of the rebels by striking the Yemeni government forces.
He appreciated the Bahraini support to the Yemeni government. The Bahraini minister renewed his country’s support emphasizing the need to mobilize efforts to push for implementing the Hodeidah deal.
