Minister of Human Rights Mohammed Askar said the Houthi militia are entrenching “a death glorifying culture” into the minds of young generations, Saba News Agency reported.
In a meeting with the Chief Executive Officer of the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations John Duke Anthony in Washington on Wednesday, Askar said the terrorist militia are exploiting schools in the parts of Yemen under their control to radicalize young kids with sectarian bigotry and anti-Semitism by changing textbooks and otherwise.
He said that, even worse, the militia are conscripting children to the warfronts in Yemen taking advantage of their needs and the wretched economic conditions of their families.
He said the militia have committed a long range of war crimes: they have planted one million landmines in different parts of the country, bombed houses and other properties, detained and tortured civilian oppositionists, and largely confiscated humanitarian aid that arrives into the country.
