The Yemeni national army on Wednesday foiled an infiltration attempt by the Iran-backed Houthi militia west of Abss district in Hajja governorate.

A number of Houthi militiamen were killed and others injured in the fighting and the rest were forced to flee.

Meanwhile, coalition fighter jets targeted the Houthi militia’s sites and gatherings in the north of Hajja province.

The air raids resulted in killed and injured among the militia ranks and destroyed number of its combat vehicles and equipment.
