Houthi-planted bomb kills civilian, injures another in Hodeida

One civilian was killed and another was injured Sunday by explosion of an improvised explosive device (IED) the Houthi militia had earlier planted in the district of Attoheta in Hodeida province.
The citizen Omar H. Ghalib was travelling in his own car on a public road in the region of the Alfaza, when the IED went off killing him immediately on the spot, local sources told September Net.
The blast explosion also wounded another person by the name Ismael Ali, who was rushed to a makeshift hospital in the district, for treatment, the sources added.
The Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia has laid thousands of landmines and explosive devices in schools, farms, public roads and civilian areas in different Yemeni region killing and wounding hundreds of people, most of whom were women and children.
