Yemen ranks fourth amongst Arab countries in Dubai robot competition

Yemen ranked fourth in among Arab states and 21 among 190 world countries in a robot-building competition held in Dubai.

Yemen won in seven out of ten matches.

Yemen’s representatives in the contest are (students) from Salem bin Mahfoodh School and the Talented Academy based in Sayoon in Yemen’s eastern province of Hadhramout.

The event dubbed “First Global Challenge” is aimed at creating robots that can help save the world’s oceans by cleaning them up and otherwise.
