A child was killed and others injured on Sunday by a landmine planted by the Iran-backed rebel Houthi militia exploded and its snipers shooting, south of the western province of Hodeida.

Local sources told September Net that the child Anas Abdul Kareem aged 7 years, was killed by a landmine planted by the militia in the area of ​​Al-Haima, south of Al-Tahita, while returning with his family to their home.

The mine also caused the injury of another child, aged four years, and another citizen named Abdulrahman Faisal was wounded, the sources added.

In the context, local sources reported that the child Ahmed Abdo Ali aged 13 years, was injured by being targeted by Houthi militia’s snipers, in the same district.

Ahmed was shot in the chest while playing in front of his house, the sources said.
