The mayor of Sana’a said the Houthi militia controlling the Yemeni capital city “are destroying Yemen’s identity and social fabric in favor of their bigoted sectarian ideology.

Addressing a cultural event in Marib city, Abdulgani Hefdh-Allah Jameel said the Iran-backed militia are “not aiming to nix not only the 26 September Revolution, but to entirely end the cultural, economic and social” identity of the Yemeni people in favor of their radical way of life.
