Arab coalition says Houthi militia’s claims of intercepting F-15 warplane is incorrect

The Arab coalition fighting to restore the internationally-recognized government in Yemen said on Wednesday that the Houthi militia’s claims of shooting down a Saudi aircraft are incorrect.

The coalition’s spokesperson, Lt. Col. Turki Al-Maliki, confirmed in a press conference that the Houthi militia’s claim of shooting down a coalition F-15 warplane is incorrect.

Al-Maliki added that what was published today was in reference to a previous and unsuccessful attempt on July 1st, 2018 and the militant group’s militia claim “is an extension of the militia’s methodology of falsifying information.”
