The Saudi project for demining in Yemen  MASAM dismantled on Thursday hundreds of new discovered landmines and unexploded ammunitions left by the Houthi militia in Yemen’s northern Al-Jawf province.

This cleanup operation is the eighteenth of its kind in the province.

Over the past two years, MASAM has removed and dismantled 3000 landmines planted by the rebel militia in the province. The Iran-backed militia uses landmines ubiquitously in highway roads, farms and private properties on all frontline areas.
