Over 1,500 mines laid by Houthi militia cleared within a week

Saudi King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, the MASAM Demining Project in Yemen has removed 1,611 mines during the third week of November 2019, planted by the Houthi coup militia.
In a statement published by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the center said that the mines they had been removed, including 12 anti-personnel mines, 492 anti-tank mines, 1,092 unexploded ordnance, and 15 explosive devices.
The center pointed out that, the total clearance since the beginning of the project so far 107,006 mines, planted by Houthi militias in the land, schools and homes in Yemen.
The Houthi rebel militia had attempted to hide these mines planted in different shapes, colors and methods, and caused a large number of casualties, whether by death, serious injury or amputation, including children, women and the elderly.
