Arab Coalition confirms commitment to Int’l humanitarian law in its military operations in Yemen

Commander of Joint Forces of Saudi-led Arab Coalition His Royal Highness Lt Gen Fahd bin Turki bin Abdulaziz affirmed that the Command of Joint Forces has been committed to apply the International Humanitarian Law in the military operations carried out in the battles against Iran-backed Houthi militia.
Speaking at a conclusion of the Fifth Training Course of the International Humanitarian Law, a week long training sessions organized in Riyadh, he cited the Houthi militia’s violations of the International Humanitarian Law, blaming the militia for prolonging the suffering of the Yemeni people and exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in Yemen.
He has affirmed that the Coalition Joint Forces’ military engagement and operations are governed by the International Security Council resolution (2216) and the International Humanitarian Law.
