A field leader in the Iran-backed Houthi militia was killed along with a number of his escorts in the west of Taiz province on Tuesday.

The National Army targeted with artillery shell a vehicle belonging to the Houthi militia in the village of Bahbah in al-Ruba’ee area.

The militia’s field leader called Muhammad al-Qaoud and four of his escorts were killed and also two other militants were wounded.
