National army thwarts militia’s infiltration attempt southern Lahj

The National Army forces thwarted on Wednesday an infiltration attempt launched by Iran-backed Houthi militia in the north of Lahj province, southern Yemen.
The commander of the Presidential Battalion in the 4th Infantry brigade said to September Net that a group of Houthi rebels tried to infiltrate towards army’s positions in the northern highlands linking the districts of Torbha and al-Maqaterah.
The army forces thwarted the rebels’ attempt, and inflicted them heavy casualties, added Major Bade’a Mohred.
