A child was killed on Wednesday by an explosive device planted by Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia in Al-Dhale province, south of Yemen.
Local sources said to September Net that the 12-year-old girl Waselah Abdulkareem al-Hamzi was killed immediately after the Houthi explosive device exploded in the east of al-Hasha district.
The child was grazing sheep in her village of Janab before the device explosion, added the sources.
The Houthi rebel militia has indiscriminately planted large quantities of mines and explosive devices in villages and valleys of al-Hasha district, causing civilian casualties, including women and children.
