A number of Iran-backed Houthi rebels were killed and injured in clashes with National Army forces in Taiz province, south eastern Yemen.

The clashes broke out on Sunday evening after the militia elements attempted to sneak into the liberated sites of Domneah and Aunsouah west of Taiz. But the army troops thwarted the militia’s attempt and forced its elements to flee.

A number of Houthi militants were killed and injured during the clashes.
