The National army forces thwarted on Sunday an infiltration attempt launched by Iran-backed Houthi militia in the south of Hodeidah province, western Yemen.
The clashes broke out after the Houthi militants attempted to sneak into liberated sites in the east of Durayhimi district, but the army forces repelled the attempt and forced the militants to flee.
Several elements in the Houthi militia were killed and injured during the clashes.
It’s worth noting that the Houthi militia continues its violations of the UN truce in Hodeidah province, while the army forces adhere to the truce in accordance with the orders of the political and military leadership.
