Prime Minister Dr. Ma’een Abdulmalik urged updating higher education curriculums, improving its quality and outputs.

” Quality education must be in focus of the Yemeni Universities. Curriculums need to be modernized to produce the needed outputs that can serve the development’s objectives “, said Ma’een.

As he presided over a meeting of the board of directors of Abyan University on Tuesday Ma’een underlined the significant role of the Yemeni universities in raising awareness and promoting tolerance. He said” The Yemeni universities and academic elites have an important role to play at this critical stage. They must help cultivating the culture of coexistence that denounces extremism and terrorism”.

The discussions touched upon the development plans of Abyan university, the problems it has been facing and suggestions to manage them.
