Yemen’s Defense Minister to attend inauguration of Egypt’s Air-Naval Military Base

Yemen’s Defense Minister Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Maqdashi is participating in the inauguration ceremony of the Egyptian Berenice Naval-Air Military Base in the Red Sea.
The inauguration ceremony is scheduled to be held on the coming Wednesday, with the presence of military leaders from various countries around the world.
The Defense Minister stressed keenness of political leadership led by His Excellency President Hadi to share the brothers in Egypt the opening celebration of the advanced military base which will contribute to preserving the Arab National security in the Red Sea, praising historically distinguished ties between the two countries.
Upon his arrival at Cairo airport, Lt. Gen. Al-Maqdashi was received by Ambassador to Egypt Dr. Mohammed Marim, the Egyptian Chief of Staff of Central Military Zone and the Military Attaché at Yemen’s Embassy Brig. Gen. Thabet Jawas.
