Yemeni Defense Minister Lt. Gen. Mohamed Ali Al-Maqdashi attended on Wednesday the opening ceremony of Egypt’s Berenice military base on the Red Sea.

The Defense Minister also participated in a visited to the military command and control center at the Egyptian military base to know more about its importance in preserving the Arab National security in the Red Sea.

Lt Gen. Al-Maqdashi pointed to the historical and depth ties between Yemen and Egypt, praising the Egyptian positions alongside the Yemeni people in various stages and its support to Yemen and its armed forces.
